Store Downloading apps on the windows 8.1 store is very slow even when my internet is going at extremely fast speeds. Downloading large apps from 300mb to 1.2gb take long periods of time to download and install for a minimum of 300mb it takes from 40 min to 1hr 30min to download and install. I really don't know why 300mb should take that long.
After i choose Windows Store Apps from the menu (after downloading & running the program App Troubleshooter), this is what i get (the above picture). After i run the Device Troubleshooter i get (the picture below) . So i update my Display adapter drivers (Nvidia GT 525M) to the latest stable version & then i restart the computer.
The first time I updated an app was when I first got my Acer V5-122p-0864 laptop on August 20th, 2013. I updated the Games app for Xbox, and it worked perfectly fine. I'm now trying to update more apps, but it won't let me.
