Come stai is more formal. Come va translates pretty closely to "what's going on/ what's up" It seems like they mostly follow English rules in terms of when to use them. For example you probably wouldn't say come va to your boss (unless they are pretty relaxed), but you would say it to your friends.
I found the Italian dub of Gravity Falls to be really excellent, with a heap of effort clearly going into it with Italian versions of the songs, etc. Actually prefer the Italian voice actors which is rare. How does learning italian compare to learning Spanish? I believe italian is much closer to Latin and Spanish has many Arabic influences. Everyone keeps saying Italian is harder but as of now I disagree. I think Italian is easier on the ears and easier to understand. To anyone who has studied both languages, how do they compare?
