Trying to play a CD or DVD through my DVD drive Windows 10 When trying to play a CD or DVD through my DVD drive I get a message saying 'Please insert a disc into drive D:' The drive opens and ejects the disc I have in there. When looking at the file manger the D drive is not listed on the left but if I open This PC then the icon appears.
Every time i have to play the game, i have to insert the Disc 2 into my DVD ROM inspite of installing the game in my hard drive. Can anybody help me with a remedy for this (ie running the game without inserting the cd ?) I can run the Microsoft Flight simulator without inserting the DVD into my DVD rom.
We were just trying to play games on it with a disc but even so, we can't start because we can't make a profile to sign in and it won't start even if the xbox is set to offline.

In Command Prompt window, type following commands mentioned in bold and press Enter key after each: diskpart list disk select disk # (replace # with number of drive to which you're installing Windows) clean convert mbr exit 3.
