Katy Perry survived a frightening midair prop malfunction while straddling a giant flying butterfly during a performance of 'Roar' in San Francisco.

In multiple fan videos, Perry nearly falls above the audience at the Chase Center as the prop malfunctions while she is in the air. While singing her 2013 hit song "Roar," the 13-time Grammy nominee was riding on the prop when it titled and dropped, seemingly causing her to lose her balance.
