Now 32, Schwarber is one of several core Phillies players scheduled to hit free agency after this season, along with catcher J.T. Realmuto and lefty Ranger Suárez. The lefty stepped to the plate when a 6-6 tie after nine innings sent the midsummer classic to the first "swing-off" in the game's history. Schwarber efficiently used his three swings to launch three homers and beat the American League 4-3 in the "Home Runs For The Win" contest that decided the game.
