DAMASCUS, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Syrian defense authorities on Tuesday declared a complete ceasefire in the southern province of Sweida following days of deadly clashes between local Druze armed factions, Bedouin tribes, and the interim government's forces, according to the defense authorities' chief Murhaf Abu Qasra.
Sweida, SANA- The spiritual leadership of the Druze Unitarian Muslims welcomed the entry of Interior and Defense Ministry forces into Sweida province, calling on armed factions to cooperate with it and surrender their weapons, open a dialogue with the government, and activate state institutions.
