‘An unprecedented threat’: Improvised explosive device found in water at critical reservoir

The Mobile Area Water and Sewer System said Tuesday the Coast Regional Maritime Response and Render-Safe Team retrieved and detonated the improvised explosive device that was found underwater at the Converse Reservoir dam. Divers surveying the dam for routine repair and maintenance located the grenade-type IED.
