First-year coordinators are setting the tone for Florida State’s season, with Miami providing the next measuring stick.

The Hurricanes’ first ACC availability report came out Thursday evening, listing the player who will not be available for Saturday’s game against Florida State.

According to Pro Football Reference, Florida State has put 323 players in the NFL. Most recently, 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse, alongside first-rounder Jermaine Johnson II. Miami has put 380 players into the league, most notably in 2025 with No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward.

Pritchard has been in critical condition since he was shot on Aug. 31 while driving two family members, including a three-year-old, back to their home in Havana.
