Work vehicle collides with Metro train and leaves 11 riders with injuries

Eleven people were injured after a work vehicle collided with a Silver Line Metro train early Wednesday morning, according to Metro officials. Just after midnight, the last Silver Line train of the day was stationary on the tracks at the Metro Center station when a work vehicle collided with the train’s rear.
