One flood alert remains in force in Greater Manchester this afternoon (September 21) after hours of torrential rain yesterday. The heavy rain saw one street in Salford submerged in water with vehicles stranded. The Environment Agency has issued several flood warnings for parts of Trafford, Stockport, south Manchester, Salford, Bury, and Bolton.
