Caitlin Clark will make her 3-Point Contest debut in Indianapolis on Friday night against the past two contest champs
Clark, competing for the first time, is joined by other talented trey ball shooters Sabrina Ionescu (Liberty), Sonia Citron (Mystics), Kelsey Plum (Sparks) and 2024 3-point champion Allisha Gray (Dream).
Ionescu is an All-Star for the fourth time in her career, adding another accolade to an accolade-filled resume. The 5’11 guard is the NCAA’s all-time leader in triple-doubles, was the Naismith College Player of the Year her senior year at Oregon, and has been a three-time member of the All-WNBA Second Team.
Caitlin Clark missed Wednesday’s game against the New York Liberty due to the right groin injury she suffered during Tuesday’s outing. With her sidelined, the Indiana Fever got blown out by the reigning WNBA champions.
