ATLANTA —Facing his locker, Yankees pitcher Max Fried was getting ready to head outside to do some throwing when he turned around and noticed a pack of reporters standing a few feet away looking his way. “Oh, OK, I guess we can do this now,” Fried said Friday before the Yankees’ first game after the All-Star break.

Fried should be ready to go in Toronto. Aaron Boone said that Schlittler underwent an MRI for "upper arm soreness," which was negative.

The New York Yankees have seen Cy Young-level production from their ace, Max Fried, this year. But Fried recently went down with a blister injury.
