Little League player Marco Rocco is getting major league support after he was suspended from a state tournament for flipping his bat during a game. The suspension was overturned.

Utah signed Springer back in March following the Celtics dealing him away at the trade deadline in a salary dump to the Houston Rockets. Houston immediately waived Springer after thar deal, leading him to sign a 10-day contract with the Jazz and eventually a three-year contract which was largely non-guaranteed.

Free jazz nights are happening at LACMA every Friday through September. The event draws upward of 2,000 people who spread out across the museum’s grassy lawn and main stage area. Some arrive hours early to claim a good spot and settle in for the evening.

That event was such a success, Jazz Night in Pioneer Square is back for a second edition on Tuesday, showcasing 14 of Seattle’s finest jazz groups across 14 neighborhood venues. Admission is once again free.

The Utah Jazz officially cut ties with a former first round pick on Thursday. According to a team release, the Jazz have waived guard Jaden Springer.
