LAS VEGAS, NV (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks are back on the court today in the Las Vegas Summer League. The Bucks will face the Chicago Bulls. Milwaukee is 1-2 so far with a win ve Denver and losses to Cleveland and the LA Clippers. The team’s final opponent will be based on the final standings.

AJax had a much-needed good game after struggling out of the gate in his first two appearances in this Summer League. The former second-round pick scored nine points, dished out six assists (but had five turnovers), four rebounds, two steals, and a block.

Cam Christie (21) and Jordan Miller (21) pace the Clippers, who score the first 15 points of the fourth and hold on for a 106-91 win.

The Milwaukee Bucks appear to be on the hunt for more backcourt depth this summer, after opting to stretch-and-waive the final two seasons and $112.6 million owed to injured nine-time All-Star point guard Damian Lillard.

The Milwaukee Bucks have their 15-man roster nearly set for the regular season. While one promising young forward is all but guaranteed a spot, his Summer League showing isn’t helping his case for more playing time next season.

As reported by Eric Nehm, Milwaukee’s Mark Sears missed Summer League opening night with a calf strain. Cleveland’s Craig Porter Jr. left six minutes into Thursday’s game with a hamstring injury and did not return. There are no official injury reports for Summer League, so we’ll find out closer to game time if those two are playing or not.
