Tesla registered plans for a new six-seater Model Y L in China with a wheelbase of 3,040 mm, according to filing information published on China's industry ministry website on Wednesday.
The ministry has also released pictures of the new version of the Model Y. At first glance, its silhouette looks eerily similar to that of Model X, with the C-pillar and the sloping roofline at the rear looking almost identical. But the overall design is unmistakably like the latest refresh.
According to Tesla, the latest generation of V4 Supercharger has the capacity to deliver up to 500 kW per car. With the sole aim to charge the EV faster and efficiently, the V4 Supercharger offers the Model Y a range of 267 km in just 15 minutes.
