Tomorrowland, in the Belgium town of Boom, is considered the world’s largest electronic dance music festival. The stage was “severely damaged” by the fire, organizers said.

Tomorrowland’s centerpiece went up in smoke Wednesday, with explosions and thick plumes of fire captured on video.

Metallica saved Tomorrowland after a fire destroyed its main stage, airlifting parts of their stage just in time for the festival's opening.
