Celebrating African Traditional Medicine Day Today, in honour of this important day, our Department had the profound privilege of visiting the iconic Imona marketplace in Nongoma. Imona is the vibrant heart of traditional healing, a place where healers from across the country gather to buy and sell herbs and medicines. We were granted a rare, first-hand look into the sacred spaces known as izindumba, and were deeply moved to witness powerful rituals, including ukukhotha izinsizi, and ukuhlahla.
