Filgrastim, known by brand names like Neupogen, Zarxio, and Granix, is a medication that stimulates the production of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell, to help prevent infections in individuals with low white blood cell counts (neutropenia). Our warrior needs 5 shots of Filgrastim for his WBC to rise, his last chemo drugs lowers his WBC and neutrophils.
