At least 2500 years old, this antefix is attributed to the Etruscan culture of ancient Latium or Rome. Made of painted terracotta, it depicts what appears to be the protective goddess Juno Sospita adorned with a crested helmet featuring goat ears and horns, and a stylized palm branch. The piece is beleived to have been used as a decorative and symbolic end tile on the cornices of temple roofs. It measures 29 cm (11.42 in) in height. This artifact is now housed at the Altes Museum in Berlin, Germ
