A lot of people with high-energy dogs think that the best way to tire them out is to give them intense exercise (like fetching) While physical exercise is absolutely important, TOO much high-excitement activity can actually keep your dog in a spiral of: High excitement ➡️ can’t settle ➡️ demanding & impatient ➡️ more high-arousal activity ➡️ even higher excitement etc … It may sound counterintuitive, but try to introduce some LOW excitement, calm activities into your dog’s day (like sniff walks)
