What’s that Wednesday?! This Gray Squirrel arrived at our center with a head injury. The high pitched call you hear is typically used by young squirrels to help their mother locate them. Thankfully, the injuries were minor, and after a brief evaluation, the squirrel was transferred to our nursery department. Over the next few weeks, this patient will be housed with other squirrels of similar size and gradually transition to an outdoor habitat as part of its preparation for release. We’re hopeful
